Show Off Your Research in the 2020 Art of Science Photography Contest

The second annual Division of Research Art of Science photography contest is only one month away. This is an opportunity to showcase the cutting-edge research, scholarship and creativity happening across all the colleges.

Last year, almost 150 photographs highlighted research across a variety of disciplines. Your photographs help educate others in all the unique research taking place at FAU – in the field, in the lab and everywhere in between.

Jellyfish in Monterey Harbor, above, by Barbara Ganson, Ph.D., is an example of just one of the many submissions last year. Ganson is a professor and director of Latin American and Caribbean studies in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters.

Open to all members of the FAU community – students, faculty and staff – the Division of Research is accepting new photograph submissions through Oct. 15, 2020.

In addition to prizes like an iPad, top photographs may also be published in an upcoming issue of Owl Research and Innovation magazine.
