Stuart Glazer
Dr. Stuart Glazer, Professor Emeritus at Florida Atlantic University, was an inspiring teacher and prolific music composer. He taught music theory coursework that was required of every music major at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He remained a prolific composer during his tenure, including a commission for FAU’s Chorus and Wind Ensemble, premiered in 2010, and also "Voices from the Holocaust", which premiered in 2010 at the North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference, and enjoyed a repeat performance at the Lifelong Learning Society in 2012. Dr. Glazer served for many years as the Chair of the Department of Music. Dr. Glazer is now pursuing his career as a painter, with numerous showings at galleries in Florida.
