CATHERINE HOWE: PAINTINGS 1993-1998
Curated by W. Rod Faulds and Staci Boris
Schmidt Center Gallery | February 28 - April 11, 1998
Related Exhibitions: some WOMEN/PRETTY girls
Artist: Cathrine Howe
Cathrine Howe: Paintings 1992-1998 exhibition includes six works of Howe that primarily focus on female subjects in often aesthetically painted backgrounds. This particular style in her works is meant to bring to light how women are “imagined” without presenting them in a narrative context or a way that helps you understand much of who they are.
